Mélange a Paris

Steve's Greque Salad
When Steve's brother Dave and wife Blair moved to Paris, we knew we'd come to visit.  But we really wanted to get in a trip while Emily and Steve H. were still in Geneva!  Since they are coming back to the USA on November 1, that meant we had to make another trip in 2011, rather more soon that we otherwise would have.  All six of us are having a splendid time in the City of Lights for a few days.

Over the years Steve and I have tried to see the Pompidou Center more than once.  Each time we have been thwarted, and this year has been no different!  The museum opens at eleven a.m., and we left in time to get there before noon.  Upon arrival, we noticed that the line for buying entry tickets extended out the door, across the courtyard, made a turn and stretched out along the sidewalk.  Inside, the line held even more people!  Plan B was to just have lunch atop the museum, and then mosey around Notre Dame.
